Bea Paans-Pollman in Apeldoorn

Beatrice Hedwig Paans-Polmann from Tasmania (Australia)

Bea Paans sitting on the stairs in front of the house at the Spadelaan 10 in Apeldoorn (see also the next photograph)

Bea stayed in this house during the last year (1944-1945) of World War Two, for she had to leave her house in Arnhem during the operation Market Garden. On the next page you see the same house in January 2001. This house is about 100 metres from the house of Jan Arie van Hengel (talking about coincidence)

Photograph is taken in 1953
