The elder Verbeek that I found during my genealogical research is Gerrit Verbeek, young man from Meteren (i.e. he is born in Meteren), married to Maria van Vlie(d)t, young daughter from Gouda. The results of my research are :

I made research on the DTB's (baptising, marriage and burrial archives) of Meteren (at the rijksarchief in Arnhem), but I didn't find the person (Gerrit Verbeek) that I was looking for. But I'm still hoping that I will find him.
